BIKING IN THE EASTERN SIERRA AND DEATH VALLEY: There are hundreds of miles of road and highway throughout Inyo County where bikers can enjoy the most spectacular rides. US 395 through Inyo County spans a length of 150 miles from Pearsonville to Rock Creek. Along the highway there are paved roads in each community that go up each canyon in the Sierra Nevadas providing some awesome scenery and some challenging rides. The Owen's Valley sits at an elevation between 3,800 & 4,000 feet. Accessing one of these canyon roads will take you to roads end where the numerous trailheads sit at between 7,700 and 10,000 feet in elevation. In Death Valley the rides are incredible and most sit at an elevation of sea level or below.
