Events: Big Pine's Christmas Tree Lighting

Roosevelt Tree & Big Pine Information Kiosk (north of town at the intersection of hwys. 395 & 168)

The magnificent 80 foot Roosevelt Tree (a giant Redwood) is strung with thousands of lights and is a remarkable site driving up or down highway 395 in the month of December. A visit from Santa Claus who arrives on a Firetruck to deliver stockings to all the kiddies. Sponsored by the Big Pine Civic Club, Big Pine Volunteer Fire Department and the Big Pine Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center.
