First Saturday in March

Held the first Saturday in March every year the derby is the first time in the year you can fish on the West side of 396 from Independence Creek to Diaz Lake. Sign up starts at 6:30am and weigh in is 3pm. This is a family event so bring the kids and fish all day. Indian Tacos are for sale for your lunch meal. Prized for kids and adults for largest fish and for largest stringer. Also there is a blind bogey of $600.00
